Overview

We are currently looking for aggressive high energy self-starters to join our team. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, customer service driven, have strong communication skills, and the motivation to perform at the highest level. If you are a mechanically inclined person who has a passion for building and fixing things, working on new projects everyday, and doesn’t like being stuck indoors then welcome to the garage door industry. Our Installers are passionate about Installation, service and repairs on residential and commercial garage doors and related equipment. The successful applicant will effectively perform quality installations, evaluate equipment, and recommend appropriate cost-effective repairs and /or installations on residential and commercial garage doors, and automatic openers.

Responsibilities:

The Garage Door Service & Sales Technician is responsible for working with customers and homeowners by providing them with solutions for repairing or replacing garage door systems as well as openerss. Technicians will go into customers' garages, complete full inspections of the garage, provide recommendations to the customer, and complete any agreed upon work same day. Additional duties and responsibilities include:Diagnose problems and provide solutions for the customer, Educate customers on the options and benefits of our product offerings, Must maintain a safe work environment upon completion of work and ensure the job site is clean and clear of debris.

Requirements:

• Preferred 1year of experience with garage door inspections, repairs and sales,

• Must be comfortable and confident with sales.

• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy physical labor in all weather conditions.

• Must be able to climb and work off of a step ladder.

• Must be able to lift mechanical components (50-75 lbs.) on a regular basis.

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be able to travel in Company vehicle extensively through territory daily.

• Solid organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Basic computer literacy required.

• Positive attitude and well-groomed professional hygienic appearance required.
• Must be a team player and possess excellent customer service skills.

• Must be willing to submit to a background check

• Communicating regularly by phone and in-person with team members warehouse, technical support specialists, dispatch, field supervisors, and customers.

• Submitting electronic work orders efficiently and accurately using company provided tablet.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
