Summer Teaching & Assistant positions available!

• LOCATIONS: Camps are held in San Mateo, and San Bruno, PLUS Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, San Jose, Fremont, Milpitas - in June, July and early August. Fun Paid training provided for all staff.
• HOURS: M-F: Full Day-8am-330pm; PT: 8am-1230pm; PM shift 12-3:30pm

Hello teachers, educators, slime makers & DIYers. Destination Science Summer Camp is hiring for this summer. Spend your summer being a role model to kids ages 5-11. Have fun building rockets, rovers, roller coasters and playing camp games. Help kids discover Aha! moments while gaining valuable STEM experience with other teachers who also want to have fun.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: Get ready to have fun! We train teachers and assistants to conduct ‘wow’ science lessons with kids. We follow the traditional day camp schedule teaching 3 science stations per day. Prep, teach, play and make a difference this summer! Our mission is to get kids excited about science and to build terrific life skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A love for kids and the ability to have fun
• Experience with prepping and preparing lesson plans
• Experience with teaching and managing a group of 10-14 children.

Not a lot of experience but like to play with kids? Be an Assistant - provide support to teachers and children; supervise and play games with campers. Assistant positions pay starts at minimum wage.
