Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at St Camillus, a premier leader of Skilled Nursing Care set in the heart of the City of Stamford, seeks a Full-Time Human Resources and Payroll Assistant to join our team.

As the Human Resources and Payroll Assistant, you will provide direct clerical and administrative support to the Corporate Director of Human Resources and Payroll and play an intergral role in the adminstration of company human resources policies and procedures as well as assisting in the weekly/biweekly facility payroll processing functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain accrurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation
• Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records
• Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and files appropriately
• Provide clerical support to the HR department
• Assist with payroll functions including processing and fixing processing errors
• Act as a liason between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include, health, disability, retirement plan providers
• Assist with the faciity Annual Open Enrollment coordination
• Conducts new hire orientation
• Assist with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, etc
• Other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidate will possess:

• Excellent verbal and wirtten communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent Interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitve and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient with payroll management, HRIS, and similar applications
