Reese's Egg, Inc. operates and owns The Flipping Egg which is a breakfast and lunch restaurant based in Abilene, TX. We are looking for an energetic person that will help fulfill our team as full-time Aquatic Specialist. This position works Friday-Tuesday. This position also has other aquatic specialists that help on the weekends.

Aquatic Specialist are expected to arrive on time and clean and sanitize plates, silverware, glassware, pots & pans, utensils, equipment, and work area in a timely manner. Aquatic Specialist must also wear the proper professional attire respecting food safety and health codes, especially slip-resistant shoes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up work station as required including filling dish machine, checking chemical levels, pre-soaking, and gathering required set-up equipment for appropriate work stations.
• Rinse/scrape all dishes.
• Operate dishwashing machine to manufacturer’s specifications and instructions.
• Place clean dishes in assigned storage location.
• Check the working condition of equipment and machinery in accordance with specifications.
• Empty and clean trash cans when they become full, transport garbage containers from kitchen and work areas to dump sites, adhere to recycling regulations.
• Set up and monitor the pot sink according to procedures.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor at the end of each day and after each spill.
• Monitor chemicals and water temperature during shift. Clean and organize associated work area and kitchen equipment according to procedures to maximize efficiency.

• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and be on your feet for long periods of time.

Job requirements

• The ability to successfully complete a criminal record and credit check.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• High degree of accuracy with good organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, & holidays.

MIN. EXPERIENCE: Between 3 months and a 1 year in a fast paced restaurant
