Job description

We are looking for a skilled Full-Charge Bookkeeper, to assist in maintaining our financial records, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & General Ledger. Works closely with Manager, Leasing and other Accounting staff to create and analyze financial/property management reports. Our ideal candidate is well versed in basic accounting principles and working knowledge of Skyline Property Management & Accounting software package, Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel required. Hourly rate to commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Verify that transactions have been entered accurately
• Bring the books to the trial balance stage
• Month End closings
• Enter data, maintain records, reports and financial statements
• Process accounts receivable/payable and tenant transactions
• Communicate with Tenants/residents

Skills

• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with Excel spreadsheets and Skyline software
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Customer service skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
