Role Overview
What we are looking for:
A distribution clerk with 2-3 years of supply chain operation experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
We count on you for:
- Monitor ZPVB Open Order screen & effectively plan, manage, coordinate and process all
- Domestic customer orders & Export customer & Affiliate replenishment orders.
- Review Export customer & Affiliate replenishment orders & book necessary containers to meet requested delivery dates (ETAs).
- Ensure all orders are processed & submitted to Shipping in a timely manner & work with Shipping, Operations Planner & Distribution Supervisor to resolve any order related issues.
- Work with Freight Forwarder to address & resolve any issues impacting shipments. Ensure documents are provided to Freight Forwarder prior to scheduled cutoff.
- Update customer & affiliates of any delays to existing shipments / upcoming requirements.
- Enter Export Affiliate replenishment orders into SAP as directed by Global Planner.
- Update replenishment orders as necessary to communicate delays to scheduled ETA dates.
- Process all customer return orders in a timely manner.
- Cross-train with other Distribution Representatives and provide back-up coverage as necessary.
- Comply and participate in all plant safety initiatives, safety training & audits.
You will bring:
- 2 year degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- 2- 3 years direct experience in Supply Chain Operations / Distribution / Warehousing / Shipping.
- Strong computer skills, including direct SAP experience, Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
- Detail oriented and must be able to work well in a demanding environment & meet commitments.
- Position requires good communication skills.
You will get:
- Competitive salary (Assess the possibility to add salary range in the job ad) and benefits package. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year . Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
