Overview:
Summary: The FTR Coordinator will report to the Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and training support for all components of the self-perform crews. The FTR Coordinator will assist the Operations Manager and Director of Construction in continuous improvement of processes for the self-perform teams.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline Safety observation and coaching to the Civil Self perform team.
  • Review daily JHA's and participate in daily safety briefings.
  • Assist in the development of new processes. Helping to draft SOP's in both English and Spanish.
  • Deliver training of all aspects to the self-perform crews. With a primary focus on a safety-first mindset
  • Possess a strong understanding of daily objectives and milestones.
  • Track performance of the self-perform teams.
  • Ability to process documents and collaborate efforts of the team using MS Office platform.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Senior Management team.
  • Work with the operations team and site leadership to coordinate orientations and training.
  • Identify staffing needs of the self-perform teams.
  • Identify areas of for improvement and development of the Civil Self Perform.
  • Assist in tracking equipment and material of the self-perform team.
  • Analyze project performance and suggest additional training needs.
  • Assist in delivery of safety orientations (Translate).
  • Assist in rollout of new programs within the department.
  • Assist in the administration of the BBO (Behavior Based Observations) Program
  • Assist with special projects.Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Director of Construction.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be bilingual.
  • Must have experience in Mechanical & Civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in construction environment +
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel +
  • Must have ability to communicate clearly.
  • Must possess strong computer skills.
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
The majority of this work is performed in a field environment and requires travel/overnight stays. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 30 pounds.
