Position Summary:
This role is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards by fully embracing the Company’s RCE philosophy. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production.
What you will Do:

Follow all GMP procedures.
-
Follow all Food Safety, Food Quality and Food Security Policies.
-
Report any equipment failure to the Sanitation Manager/Supervisor.
-
Set up and tear down production equipment as needed to perform specific cleaning applications.
-
Use chemicals to clean and sanitize food contact and non-food contact surfaces.
-
Inspect all equipment before releasing line to Sanitation Manager / Supervisor for inspection.
-
Responsible for documentation of job tasks performed on sanitation checklist.

Must wear protective equipment and follow all safety procedures (PPE’S).

Direct areas of cleaning and ensure assignments are completed timely.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to perform repetitive movements. The associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
