Front Desk Request Assistants are specially trained Front Desk Clerks who provide round-the-clock support to guests through a guest text messaging program that is artificially intelligent. This is an On-Site position at Turning Stone Casino Resort.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day requests via Ivy, ensuring the guest’s needs are met and communication is handled in a timely manner. Always verifying guest satisfaction.
  • Contacts guests for a courtesy call 20 minutes after check in to be sure everything is fine. Asks if there is anything else the guest needs.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of the virtual assistant software, LMS and HotSos to ensure proper flow of requests and accountability for resolved requests.
  • Assists with telephone calls to the Hotel Front Desk and assists the guest in a timely manner to expedite requests.
  • Effectively answers any guest questions. Consistently directs guests to proper areas for answers to questions. Consistently follows through on guest issues to get them resolved.
  • Responsible for daily room assignments and key creation for guests utilizing mobile check-in for the Hotel/Tower.
  • Works closely with associated departments to ensure they have the information necessary to answer guest questions appropriately and correctly.
  • Provides insight into how to improve the current system based on repetitive guest requests and trouble shoots any issues that may arise until resolved.
  • Knowledgeable about events and general property information to include restaurant hours, entertainment, bingo etc.
  • Assists with other front desk duties as directed.
  • Verifies cell numbers are transferred to appropriate LMS field to support mobile features.

Position Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must have experience in a guest contact position.
  • Must have hotel and cashiering experience.
  • Must be able to type 40 wpm with accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills required.

Position Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for significant periods of time.
  • Repetitive use of hands for use on keyboard required.
