The Howard Johnson Lima is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate! As a Guest Services Associate you will be responsible for greeting guests and checking guests in and out of the hotel. The Howard Johnson Lima strives to provide each guest with the best experience possible from the moment they are greeted to the moment the check out. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest put forth by the hotel management:

Greet guests and complete the booking/check-in process to including gathering guest information, confirmation of guest information and room rate, room selection, Wyndham Rewards Enrollment, and ensuring guest knows location of room and/or has assistance getting to their room if needed.
Assist guests with check-out including asking if the guest had an enjoyable stay, properly billing the guest for the necessary charges, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and posting a variety of payment types, making change and processing additional charges.
Use your knowledge of the hotel and the community to help guests find their way around and offer recommendations for local attractions and dining options.
Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize revenue
Respond to guest questions and requests and resolve issues in a timely and friendly manner

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
