The Receptionist role at Skin Body Soul is highly visible. The ideal candidate maintains a professional appearance and friendly, cheerful demeanor at all times.

We're seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team. The environment is fast paced. The ability to multi-task and adapt to changing demands is important.

You must be able to work a variable schedule of 25-30 hours/week including evenings and rotating weekend days. Our hours of operation: M,T,W,TH,FR 9-7 and SAT + SUN 10-4.

Receptionist Role

  • Learn front deskrole: SBS culture, workflows, service menu and medical grade products offered.
  • General duties include answering phone calls, making appointments, checking in and checking out patients, and scanning records, inputting/updating medical records.
  • The Receptionist maintains a friendly, cheerful disposion at all times and is engaged in patient care, dedicated to the efficient functioning of the medical facility, and adaptable to changes in the facility protocols and/or physician needs.
  • There is a lot to learn so the successful candidate will be eager- a quick learner and engaged in the process!
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain awareness of all activity at the front desk and in the reception area. Acknowledge patients with a smile as they enter and greet warmly as they approach the desk.
  • Adaptability is important to adjust with changing demands.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
  • Experience in esthetics or sales of skin care products highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate.
  • Requires 1+ years of experience in front desk/customer service role. Stable work history only seeking long term committment.
  • This person must be flexible, positive, and friendly
  • We require a team player who has an excellent attendance record
  • This job requires a lot of multitasking, so we need someone who can learn quickly and adapt to changing workloads
  • Qualified applicants must have excellent customer service skills, good computer skills, and previous experience as a receptionist
  • There are lots of medical procedures to learn, so we need someone with self-motivation in this fast-paced environment
  • Requires 2 years of experience in front desk/customer service role. Stable work history.
  • Knowledge of Nextech medical software is a plus.
  • Strong keyboarding skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Must be meticulous and accurate when working with patient data
  • Possess solid customer service skills with a friendly personality
  • Have professional phone manner and strong verbal communication skills
  • For patient communications, must be able to write well without grammatical or spelling errors
  • Project professional appearance and have high grooming standards
  • Must be reliable and not have unauthorized absences or tardiness
  • Positive work references required
  • All professional references are checked

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability
