The Quality Inn Petaluma is looking for a personality plus individual to work as a Guest Services Agent from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shift - Full Time. Open interviews held on Tuesdays and Thursday's between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 5100 Montero Way Petaluma, CA . POSITION SUMMARY
SCHEDULE: Mostly 3 p.m.-11 p.m.
Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (preferably someone that is ok with working alone sometimes.)
OFF DAYS: Wednesday and Thursdays.
Please be open to weekdays and potential weekends, holidays etc. Required open availability.
PAY: $18.00 hourly DOE
The Guest Services Agent assists guest with reservations, check-ins, and checkouts, registers guests and assigns rooms. Accommodate special request whenever possible. Keeps a record of room availability and guests’ accounts .
- Assists in per-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
- Thoroughly understand and adhere to proper credit, check, and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Know room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
- Must be sales-minded. Present options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
- Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
- Work closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
- Greet, register and assigns rooms to guests.
