Smith Fertilizer & Grain has an immediate opening for a full-time front counter associate at our Albia, Iowa location. This position features a competitive wage and full benefits package.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Enjoys working with the public
• Answer multi-line phone system
• Greet customers and staff daily
• Operate scale for weighing multiple commodities (some evenings and weekends during peak seasons)
• Invoicing for walk-in customers, take payments and complete daily deposit
• Ability to setup & resolve issues with all types of office equipment (including cell phones)
• Assist administration as necessary

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent customer service skills required
• Ability to multi-task
• Must enjoy working with the public
• Proficient with all Microsoft office products
• 10 key adding machine
• Background knowledge of farming preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
