Port of Subs is a legacy sub sandwich franchise organization that serves quality products through superior service by friendly, qualified people in a clean, appealing atmosphere.

Port of Subs was recently acquired by Area 15 Ventures, a private equity investment business, who bring vast experience in executive leadership, business development, marketing, franchise sales, Zee/Zor relationships, training and national expansion. We have a strategy to rapidly grow this franchise from 130 stores in 7 states to nationwide expansion in traditional and non- traditional locations using the Regional Development model.

FRANCHISE SALES MANAGER

The Franchise Sales Manager will advance the Sales Strategy of Area 15 Ventures company-owned restaurant franchises. With a lofty goal to grow franchise sales over 140% in 18 months throughout our restaurant fast casual and sub sandwich network in the United States, our Franchise Sales Managers will use strong relationship management and influencing skills to sell franchises to great future franchisees.

Our Franchise Sales Manager will vet prospects, articulate value, advance the brand and sell Port of Subs® franchises in traditional and non-traditional locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop leads for franchise owner prospects based on population and demographic instructions
  • Meet with prospects to discuss the value proposition of franchise opportunity
  • Discuss FDD with prospects to fully inform of compliance with brand standards, financial commitments, performance expectations, operating standards, renewals, etc.
  • Participate in Discovery Day for respective franchisors. Deliver presentations, answer questions, entertain/host events.
  • Consult with Head of Franchise Sales on difficult/challenging franchise sales opportunities to ensure the sale is mutually beneficial to the zee/zor
  • Participate in milestone events with new franchise owners
  • Work closely with Onboarding Team to ensure smooth transition from the sales process to the onboarding process
  • Utilize technology and data to drive network growth and benchmark progress

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or four years of related work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in franchise sales
  • Experience with FranConnect CRM
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem solving and communication skills
  • Successful in building customer relationships and ability to provide premier customer service
  • Ability to handle self-directed work environment
  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management Software Helpful
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% for office visits and conferences

Hire Range/Rate:

$55,000 - $65,000 + commission

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location.
