BlueTriton Brands is currently seeking applicants for Seasonal Forklift Operators (warehouse shipping) assignments to be located in our Poland Spring, Maine facility.
Sign on Bonus
Compensation $20.00 / hr
Shift differential pay of $1.00 per hour after 6pm.
$500 sign on bonus ($250 payable after 1st pay cycle and $250 paid after 90 days of employment)
Schedule : Wednesday - Saturday 8:00 pm to 6:00 am
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Safely operating a forklift to accurately and efficiently movement all finished product from production to the warehouse or onto trucks for shipment to customers.
• Inspects full goods and raw materials and conducts hourly quality checks to ensure quality product is sent to customers
• Meet or exceed Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Accurately execute loading/unloading from pick tickets and line loading trailers when possible
• Perform accurate bin transactions and inventory movements per SOPs
• Work as a team with production to ensure no line stoppages occur
• Operate Windows based computer system
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance and equipment changeovers on palletizers
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform loading or palletizing responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior forklift or heavy equipment experience Required with prior experience in manufacturing desired
• Exposure to warehouse inventory scanners and basic equipment maintenance preferred
• Ability to work self directed and with a team
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team based environment
• Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus
• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency
• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs and get up and down a forklift frequently throughout the day
• Able to sit for long periods of time and drive backwards as needed
