Job Description

We are currently looking for forklift/Hilo driver(s) for our 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) Material Control Team.

This is direct hire/full time position w a 90 day probationary period

We are looking for a SPECIFIC forklift/Hilo driver, one who has driven propane forklifts.

YOU MUST be able to drive (and have driven) a CLUTCH (3rd petal) forklift. The “right” candidate will be able to successfully answer these 3 basic questions

When should you use the clutch or 3rd petal? How do you use it?

What type of freight have you moved?

Outside of those questions, here is a general job description (not all encompassing):

Load and unload product on the receiving dock or outside

Follow the receiving tally process

Retrieve raw product from raw location to be placed in designated production run location

Perform daily Hilo checklist

Hand scanner experience beneficial

Good verbal communication skills with the use of walkie talkies

Willingness to work overtime with short notice

We offer a great benefit package to those who are eligible after 90 days. We do value attendance as well. Do not apply if have had poor attendance at your previous employers. At times overtime/weekends is mandatory.

Candidate will be interviewed once, possibly twice. Candidate must pass a written and driving evaluation to be considered for the position.
