JOB PURPOSE
Communicate play-by-play back to our Stat Inputter to provide complete STAT integration for a football league. Collaborate with both office staff and on-site clients to deliver an outstanding product while providing excellent customer service. This is your chance to be an official stat provider for a football league!
This is a seasonal, part-time position. Candidates need to be available nights and weekends in conjunction with their team's schedule.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Communicate stats clearly and effectively to the STATS inputter
- Enhance product value through product knowledge and advanced communication with clients
- Ability to understand and communicate football plays
- A strong comprehension of the positions, rules, and statistics of football
- Communicate needs and wants of clients with SMT
- Help create post-event reports for each football game
- Assist with on-site testing and problem diagnosis
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and review documentation
- Ability to listen and participate in meetings
- Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years Statistician experience preferred
- Football playing or coaching experience preferred
- Computer Science, Sports Management, Television Production, Communication Studies, or related major preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines required.
- Knowledge of Football rules and terminology require
- Statistical knowledge preferred
