Pine Run Retirement Community, a member of Doylestown Health is hiring part-time Server to work in their dining room. We offer competitive pay, a exceptional work hours.

• POSITION SUMMARY: The part-time server is responsible for serving dinner to the Residents and preparing the service area for the next meal.

Supports Departmental Operations

• Serving, to include order taking, delivery, and transportation of meals, from the kitchen to the dining room.
• Clearing used and soiled china, glassware and silverware, and transporting it from the dining room to the kitchen.
• Resetting the dining room, setting up for special events.
• Cleaning, to include the cleaning of tables, chairs, equipment, rugs, trays, vacuuming.
• Assist in the seating of villagers.
• Serve breakfast and Café as needed
• Washing and drying of server aprons
• Set up of salad bar.

• OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrates understanding and complies with Pine Run's EXPOSURE PREVENTION PLAN for occupational exposure of blood borne pathogens.
• Adheres to Pine Run Policies and Procedures, and to include Fire/Disaster Plan.
• When needed, assists productions staff with preparation and service of the meal.
• To work as a full-time server during vacations, etc. Assist Utility when needed.

• EQUIPMENT USED:

Coffee machines, juice machines, and preventive maintenance of the equipment.

• WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Wet floors and extreme temperatures in the kitchen area.
• Direct and constant interaction with Residents and guests.
• JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must pass required health screen and testing before employment begins and yearly thereafter, as applicable to the position.
• Must have an acceptable criminal history report as defined by the Older Adults Protective Services Act and its amendments.
• Good communication skills, patience, coordination, good grooming habits, and the ability to work well with supervisors and co-workers.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
