Location: Beecher, IL

Shift: Monday-Friday 545am-430pm

Pay: $18.82/hour

Shift differential: $2.50/hour in addition to the hourly rate

While reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for injecting insulating foam into a variety of products primarily but not limited to the following; polyethylene and fiberglass containers, cryogenic freezers, and CO2 storage tanks.

Day today responsibilities will include:

• Following the company procedures and the manufacturer’s recommendations for operating equipment

• Monitoring the molding machinery, molds and the associated equipment. Immediately reporting to the supervisors any actual or potential problems.
• Providing day to day maintenance on the molds to insure quality molded parts.
• Striving to perform efficiently, work to maximize output from the machinery.
• Maintaining all tools and equipment in optimum working condition.
• Keeping all jigs, fixtures, and molds clean, waxed and properly adjusted. Report any needed repairs to the supervisor immediately. When a job is completed, thoroughly cleaning all equipment before warehousing.
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices in the work area.
• Making recommendations for procedural changes as necessary.
• Continually practicing safe operation and handling of all equipment, raw materials and products throughout the entire plant.

Requirements:

• HS diploma, or general education degree (GED)
• You will have 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both education and experience
• You will need to be able to lift up to 70 lbs. as needed.
• You will need to able to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence and memos
• You must have the ability to use and accurately read a tape measure
• You will need to have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• You will need to have the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
