We are currently looking for a Part time delivery driver for busy South Charlotte flower shop - Apx. 20 hours per week.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

The candidate must be comfortable working both alone and as part of a team and most importantly they must have a commitment to exceeding customer's expectations.

Duties include; delivering flowers to customers in our company van, coordinating deliveries according to the schedule using GPS, greeting the customer in a friendly and professional manor, delivering and/or picking up materials as requested by the General Manager. Must keep a neat personal appearance adhering to a dress code.

Additional duties include; monitoring vehicle maintenance and vehicle problems and communicating any problems to the General Manager. Keeping truck washed and clean inside and out. Keep truck gassed. Checking fluids regularly. Restocking Shelves, sweeping up at end of day, emptying trash cans, breaking down boxes and putting in recycling. Helping other departments as needed.

General Requirements: Must have a valid NC or SC driver's license and a clean DMV record. Position requires lifting and carrying products, flowers and other materials. Driver must be available for additional hours of driving on (and during the week preceeding) Valentine's Day and the Saturday before Mother's Day (we are closed for actual Mother's Day)

Drug screen and back ground check mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
