Job description

The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for helping manage the shipping of our fleet in Santa Fe Springs, Victorville, and Texas facilities. This includes the coordination and scheduling of all deliveries by our company drivers and third parties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage all dispatching aspects regarding drivers, including but not limited to load information, directions, parking availability; as well as interpret and address any issues and problems they may encounter.

· Having knowledge of what kind of heavy equipment will be delivered; will there be a loading dock, is a crane going to be needed.

· Coordinate with escort at the airport.

· Manages inbound communication, such as phone calls and emails.

· Inspection of equipment to be done upon delivery.

· Develop day-to-day project truck delivery schedules.

· Coordinate with site to ensure proper sequencing and timing of equipment deliveries.

· Identify, contact, and screen carriers for transportation of freight.

· Develop safety protocols for loading, securing, and unloading equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics.

· Heavy haul trucking experience preferred.

· Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
