Experience Momentum is a busy functional wellness center with facilities. We follow a holistic approach to wellness and healthcare, combining services ranging from physical therapy and massage therapy to personal training, group fitness classes, CrossFit, and nutrition counseling.
We are looking for a dynamic fitness team member who is willing to participate in personal training, and coaching CrossFit at out Fremont location. Our studio focuses on functional training, sports conditioning and post rehabilitation. There is long term growth potential for a coach/trainer who is consistent, reliable and versatile.
This position requires some Evening and Weekend availability.
Primary Duties and Requirements:
- Ability to build clientele by administrating fitness assessments
- safely conducting personal training sessions
- Ability to coach CrossFit and group training classes
- Ability and organization skills to assist with customer relations and sales
- Possess an enthusiastic, passionate, friendly and ambitious personality
- Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting heavy weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting & prolonged standing and walking.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 45+ pounds
Personal Training experience preferred but not required
Desired Education/ Certifications:
- Current CPR
- CrossFit L1 or Above, NASM, CSCSC, USAW
- National Certification or a 4-year degree in any related field
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Qualifications:
- Positive, upbeat attitude and belief system
- Excellent customer service skills - passionate about creating an outstanding customer experience
- Pays extreme attention to detail and is highly organized, takes ownership for their responsibilities and tasks
- Comfortable working with technology and learning scheduling systems
- Collaborative, with the ability to work well in a team environment
Shifts Needed:
- Part-time with potential to turn into Full-time.
