We are looking for a Temporary Fitness Assistant to start immediately. This temporary position will last for around 3 months. Hours are flexible, however we are looking for someone for at least 20+ hours per week Monday-Friday and typical hours would be from 9 am - 3 pm but can be flexible.

This is a fun and exciting opportunity! This person will facilitate group exercise classes, one on one training, circuit training, and wellness/fitness related activities with our residents as well as our employees. This is a part-time position Monday - Friday of approximately 25-30 hours per week.

The Fitness Assistant would be utilizing free weights, cardio machines, walking, standing and movement training in our gym and other areas. Our Fitness Assistant will be responsible for guiding residents and staff in the safest, most effective movement for strengthening, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.

This position does require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds while setting up/breaking down equipment for classes.

Experience in fitness with seniors preferred. Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana) is required. We are a licensed healthcare facility who serves the most vulnerable population, so the covid vaccination is mandatory for employees.
