Job description

The Finishing Department Supervisor will be highly skilled in Finishing and Painting in cabinetry millwork for residential and/or commercial projects.

The Finishing Department Supervisor will be responsible for managing the Sanding department.

Some skills and requirements of this role include:

o Experience in cabinetry millwork finishing and painting

o Expert with finishing and painting in millwork

o Expert with conversion varnish, water born products and lacquer-based products

o Leading team to maximize each member's strengths and determine weaknesses for training purposes.

o Manage equipment, inventory, submitting purchase orders, scheduling, and ordering for the finishing department.

o Managing multiple, high value projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and honoring budgetary restrictions.

Paints:

Conversion Varnish Paint, Milesi Waterbase paint, Lacquer based paint and Kem-Var paints

Useful equipment knowledge:

Graco Air-assisted Pumps, Kremlin Air-assisted pumps, Airless pumps, Cup guns, Airbrush guns, Paint booth painting or Body shop painting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
