As a Financial Sales Specialist, you will acquire financial sales skills and knowledge of a specific assigned market as it pertains to the distribution industry and learn how to use the Company's financing as a selling tool.

You will assimilate training by making prospect calls while participating in Company events, meetings and training sessions in the industry; network with potential partners/customers within assigned market to develop business opportunities.

In this role you will:
  • Conduct effective sales prospecting to potential contractors/end users.
  • Implement strategic sales process including establishing and tracking metrics.
  • Execute the Company's Financial Services processes and business model.
  • Coordinate with the Company's district sales organization to enhance the Company's overall selling solution by offering financing in appropriate situations.
  • Participate in training and joint sales calls with the Company's district sales organization.
  • Recognize and implement financial services when financing can become a selling solution with appropriate cash flow analysis.

What you bring to the table:
  • 1 year of sales or finance experience preferred
  • 4 year degree required; Sales and Marketing or Finance preferred
  • Knowledge of basic financial concepts and sales techniques
  • Oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of financial sales concepts used to sell solutions to a specific assigned marketplace
  • Ability to maintain a high volume of prospecting calls
  • Ability to interrelate financing with the core distribution model within a sales organization
  • Ability to collaborate with teams and achieve results
  • Self-motivated, business orientated, flexible, and accountable
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels within and outside of the organization
  • Relationship building skills
  • Ability to positively persuade and influence others
  • Occasional travel required
