As part of our team, you will help build the financial foundation that makes cutting-edge innovation possible.

The Financial Analyst II position is a part of the DISH Manufacturing and Distribution Finance team, supporting DBS Pay TV and the DISH 5G Wireless network buildout. Our financial analysts are passionate individuals focused on support of business strategy to put us in a winning position. They are responsible for planning, designing and implementing financial and operational cost analysis models, identifying trends and reporting on financial results to management and executive leadership. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis for business decision support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Execute financial and strategic analysis projects to improve performance for all areas of the business
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and teams to research and interpret forecasts vs actual results, and to prepare and present financial reports to management and executive leadership
  • Create, maintain, and update complex models utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, OneStream, and other financial programs
  • Analyze accounting records to ensure proper financial procedures have been followed
  • Develop financial models and reports to monitor key metrics, calculate projections, and highlight areas of concern and/or opportunity
  • Participate in creation of annual budgets, financial projections, monthly accruals, and variance reporting

SKILLS
A successful Financial Analyst II will have the following:

  • Self-driven and committed, with initiative and motivation to seek opportunities
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and strong PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Experience with ERP and Corporate Performance Management systems; Oracle and OneStream a plus
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, as well as budgets, P&L reports, financial processes, inventory and logistics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and understand financial information with an operational perspective
  • Ability to prepare financial presentations and to write reports/correspondence/procedure manuals, and effectively present information in meetings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferably in Finance or Accounting. MBA or Master’s in a related field a plus
  • 2-5 years of related finance analysis/accounting experience; or equivalent of education and experience combined

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
Salary Range: USD $71000.00 - $94000.00 / Year
