Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will develop and run financial analysis on several areas of the Desserts business, including but not limited to sales and Bedford Park costs, and will also provide the financial ‘story’ around these analyses. This commentary will be formed by reviewing detailed aspects of the analysis.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and financial data
• Creates financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making
• Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders
• Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends
• Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in data analysis
• Thorough understanding of project management
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Two years of professional experience as an accountant or auditor or valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience as an accountant or auditor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
