Manages the day to day business, administrative, and fiscal responsibilities. Manages and provides oversight to the functions of general accounting, accounts payable, cash management, capital asset management, and financial reporting. Creates, analyzes and present financial information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Five (5) years of supervisory experience in healthcare finance or accounting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Seven (7) years of supervisory experience in healthcare finance or accounting

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Communicates all necessary accounting responsibilities, procedures, and programs.

2. Reviews and approves expenditures relating to the operations of the organization. Monitors and manages budget targets and accounts for discrepancies.

3. Generates financial reports.

4. Directs finance services related to all departments.

5. Reviews incoming correspondence from IRS, State and Local agencies to determine appropriate course of action.

6. Contributes to strategic oversight, planning, and goal setting.

7. Remains current and responsive to changes in healthcare delivery, standards established by professional organizations, regulatory and accrediting bodies and the needs of the organization.

8. Participates in the processes to assess and improve the services provided and compliance with regulatory requirements. Reports results assessment and improvement processes to the appropriate administrative levels.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. MEDIUM WORK- exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly).

2. Able to bend, stoop, reach and be capable of normal rotation, standing and walking for an 8-10 hour shift.
