Finance Admin Assistant (6 Months FTC)

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Administration Assistant to be based in our Derby offices. Reporting into the Pre-Planned Operations Manager you will be supporting the ARTS finance, pre-planned and emergency teams with general administration duties. Specifically the role will include raising purchase requisitions, reconciling invoices with purchase orders and approving payments.

This is a 6-month FTC working full time, Monday to Friday. We offer flexible work pattern with the opportunity to work from home.



Raise purchase requisitions on behalf of the pre-planned and emergency teams

Reconcile invoices received from suppliers with purchase requisitions, dealing with anomalies through to resolution

Assess the ARTS operational database and logs to validate accuracy of the supplier invoice

Keep up to date the Key Performance Indicator process to ensure accuracy of data for onward reporting/use

Assist with the timely updates and monitor actions from the various operational ‘issues tracker’ to enable a continuous improvement approach and mindset

Monitor shared inboxes and distribute actions/requests for response as appropriate


Highly numerate and methodical

Competent communication skills with people

Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word

Strong eye for detail

Good knowledge of UK geography

Familiar with the purchase order process - desirable
