Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.
We operate or own equity interests in assets in the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, and Texas, including approximately 16,000 miles of petroleum and natural gas pipelines and over 100 gathering, treating, and processing facilities.
Fieldman
Summary
Western Midstream (WES) is looking to fill positions for Fieldman - Pipeline Midstream Ops in the Southern Region located in the Permian Basin: Kermit, Orla, N Loving, N Reeves and Mentone, Texas.
Qualifications
- A basic understanding of oil and gas operations. Working knowledge of natural gas process equipment considered a significant plus.
- Work outside in harsh conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conducting pipeline pressure surveys.
- Conduct pipeline pigging operations.
- Perform operational duites in accordance with operating procedures and guidelines, including adherence and enforcement of all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
- Execute start up, shut down, and maintain field euipment.
- Performing troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and replacement of equipment as necessary.
- Conduct dew point testing, maintenance, and monitoring of glycol dehydration systems.
- Writing and reviewing work permits associated with construction or maintenance in operating areas.
- Providing leadership for contact and third party crews in complying with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations, and all Western Midstream safety policies and procedures.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification/License
Vaild driver's license with no restrictions that would probit driving a company vehicle.
Relocation
This position may be eligible for relocation.
Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is zero-10%.
Work Schedule
This position will be on a 8/6 work shift schedule.
Must be available for 24/7 on call as needed/scheduled.
The schedule may rotate to include night work and may include some required scheduled overtime. WES reserved the right to change the schedule if it is required by business.
Candidate must live within 75 miles of Kermit, TX.
