BWC is currently operating under a hybrid schedule that can incorporate both teleworking and in-office hours. Employees may be required to report to the office when requested by management &/or for their initial job training.

What You'll Do:

  • Installing, maintaining, configuring, testing, upgrading, and administering assigned multiple technology domains.
  • Providing workstation support, information security, telecommunications, and network connectivity.
  • Serving as primary on-site customer support technician for BWC employees utilizing client equipment, programs and peripherals such as personal computers, tablets, telephones, printers, scanners, Microsoft Windows operating system and other Office products as well as custom BWC applications.
  • Providing timely and friendly IT support to customers by fulfilling assistance requests, issue resolutions and use of systems features.

Qualifications


Required Experience and/or Education:

  • Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems; 24 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
  • Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems; 30 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
  • Or 48 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
  • Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Necessary Skills and Competencies

BWC OCSEA Selection Rights:

This position shall be filled in accordance with the provisions of the OCSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. BWC bargaining unit members have selection rights before non-bargaining unit members.
