- In this position your field responsibilities will include boring and test pit layout by conventional surveying and Global Positioning Systems (GPS), observation and classification of test pits, and the performance of hand auger borings
- Other field responsibilities may include operation of pressure meter testing equipment during drilling operations, seismic testing, as well as Pile Driving Analyzer testing (PDA Testing)
- You may also be expected to train and supervise other employees
- Additional responsibilities may include installation and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation such as inclinometers, tilt meters, crack monitors, and deformation monitoring using various surveying instruments and techniques
- Office responsibilities may include classification of samples obtained from drilling operations, reduction of GPS data for utilization and production, reduction of pressure meter test results, seismic data reduction, and PDA data reduction
- As experience and ability dictates, you may also be responsible for preparation of reports, project management, and other engineering duties

BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field

- Position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height

Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed
