FAMILY VIOLENCE PROGRAMS THERAPIST for the Domestic Violence/ Rape Crisis Center with an hourly rate of $24.30. Provide therapeutic services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking who are experiencing symptoms of trauma, or other mental health concerns.
Additionally, this position will provide crisis intervention services for shelter residents. This position is contractual and grant funding is contingent upon approval on an annual basis. It includes some approved County benefits, including paid time off (PTO) accruals, holiday pay, optional health coverage, and deferred compensation.

Position requirements: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Community Counseling or other related field is required; License and/or certification is required (LCSW-C preferred, LMSW or LCPC accepted); must have a valid Driver’s License with no more than 3 points and must pass a criminal background check.

Duties: Include providing on-site, time-limited, comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault or human trafficking (services will be provided to both sheltered and non-sheltered clients); completing intake process and assessments on all prospective clients; developing and updating treatment plans; making appropriate referrals to other community resources; maintaining case records; gathering and compiling data needed to complete quarterly statistical reports; facilitating therapeutic groups, as needed; and perform all other duties as assigned.
