At Uram Family Therapy, we provide evidenced-based mental health treatment to individuals, families, and couples with compassion, understanding and hope.

We are actively looking to hire a creative, driven, and evidence-based therapist to join our rapidly growing practice. The best applicant is someone who values helping their client reach their full potential in a reasonable amount of sessions. We pride ourselves on doing what works and changing our approach when necessary.

We are specifically looking to hire a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) to see clients at our Irvine Spectrum location at 25 Mauchly, Suite 317, Irvine, CA 92618. Our therapists have a wide range of specialties. We currently are looking to hire a child therapist for 5-12 year olds providing mostly CBT, coping cat, play therapy or ACT, a background in Collaborative Problem Solving would be a bonus.

We have offices in Newport Beach and Tustin and offer telehealth through SimplePractice and Microsoft Teams. This position is 1-2 days per week, in-person.

We regularly track client progress and satisfaction. Equally important, we track your satisfaction with us. As you build up a caseload, we encourage you to keep your clients if you choose to leave. We strongly believe in doing what is best for our therapists and our clients, so you are free at any time to leave the practice and take the clients that you are seeing with you. It is better for clinical care, which is more important than our bottom line. We truly want you to enjoy working at Uram Family Therapy.

There has never been a larger need for therapists, and at UFT, we aim to also pay as well as you deserve. We have a unique pay structure that we are upfront with, without making you wait until the interview.

Rather than pay you a salary or a set hourly fee, this is what we offer:

70% of the total fee charged to the client.

Estimated Total Yearly Pay before taxes for 10 clients per week at $150 per hour: $52,500

Estimated Total Yearly Pay before taxes for 20 clients per week at $150 per hour: $105,000

Estimated Total Yearly Pay before taxes for 30 clients per week at $150 per hour: $157,500

You set your rate. We also offer participation on one insurance panel if desired.

All levels qualify for employee benefits: 1 hour of Sick Pay for every 30 hours worked. We cover the reasonable costs of marketing, office space, office supplies, internet, telehealth, and professional liability insurance. We offer $200 per month toward paid medical insurance if you regularly see 20+ clients per week. Equal Opportunity Employer.

We expect our therapists to continually seek out training in CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, Collaborative Problem Solving, Narrative Therapy, TFCBT and the Gottman Method as well as other evidence-based techniques.
