Successful candidates with 2 years of experience are eligible for a $25,000 sign-on bonus plus up to $10,000 in moving expenses. 50% of the bonus paid in the first check, remainder paid after one year of continuous employment (figures based on a full-time position).

We are in search of an experienced, dynamic Family Nurse Practitioner to join one of our primary care sites at La Clinica, a Federally Qualified Health Center, located in beautiful Southern Oregon. As a primary care medical home, we serve 30,000 patients annually throughout our six health care centers, 34-chair dental clinic, and mobile health center – a 40-foot converted RV. We are an innovative non-profit organization, with a focus on providing exceptional health care to all who have barriers to care, and we include integrative behavioral and dental health care in our practices.

• Our Acute Care Clinic provides drop-in care for patients who are established at other La Clinica centers and for community members who have no other healthcare provider or who speak only Spanish. Services include diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and minor injuries and related laboratory services.
• Birch Grove Health Center is a unique site that provides comprehensive medical care to patients with a history of mental health and/or substance use disorders. As a PCP within the Birch Grove Health Center, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with Mental Health providers, Substance Abuse providers, the Department of Human Services, Corrections and Court Systems, and other agencies working with patients specifically around mental health and/or substance use disorders. Preferred interest in Medication-Assisted Treatment.
• Our Wellness Center is searching for integrative medicine providers to expand the current complementary offerings of Lifestyle Medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, nutrition counseling, yoga, Zumba, and cooking classes. Also a primary care medical home, this is a dynamic and innovative site, with a strong focus on holistic health and alternatives to classical western medicine.
• West Medford Health Center has a neighborhood health center feel, where a majority of our patients live in the immediate vicinity and walk to their medical home. Also providing comprehensive medical care to a large pediatric and adult population, this health center is located in one of our most impoverished Medford neighborhoods. This location also provides the opportunity for gardening classes as part of La Clinica's commitment to holistic health.
• Phoenix Health Center is La Clinica's “mothership” – a large bustling primary care medical home that served as our sole site for many years. Located in south Medford, this primary care medical home continues to serve patients from throughout the valley, from “birth to death.”
• Central Point Health Center is our northernmost primary care site, serving the small community of Central Point and beyond. This health center has an integrated dental suite in addition to the primary care offerings, and serves patients from “birth to death”, with a slightly larger geriatric population.

Our compensation allows you to comfortably live in an area with both a great outdoor and cultural life. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, whose season runs from March through November, is highly regarded for both traditional drama and innovative productions. There is fine dining and diverse visual arts and musical performance scene. The Rogue River and small Cascade streams are nearby, and there are numerous mountain lakes within an hour's drive of our valley. Additionally, we have several fine golf courses and an active community of endurance athletes, mountain bikers, and hikers who enjoy the extensive trail network.

There are excellent public and private secondary educational opportunities in the area as well as the campus of Southern Oregon University. La Clinica encourages a work/life balance with full-time employees generally working a four-day week, with four weeks of paid vacation per year to start, in addition to a week of CME. We are a National Health Service Corp (NHSC) loan repayment site, with a medical HPSA score of 13. Successful applicants must have graduated from an accredited school, with board certification.

• English language fluency is expected, and Spanish language proficiency is valued.
• Applicants must possess an active Oregon license.
• Applicants must also possess CPR certification and an active DEA license.
