MasterMold is a contract manufacturer of composite fiberglass parts. We currently have a few openings on second shift in our press and paint departments at our Mauston, WI location. Our press department is where the process begins. Our operators turn raw material into parts by using a hydraulic press, in addition to:
- Running a press and operating secondary equipment such as machining robots
- Preparing material according to part specifications
- Loading material in the press and removing parts from the press
- Fabricating by deflashing a part with various tools
- Assembling a variety of hardware to the molded part using general tools
- Inspecting parts for cosmetic and functional criteria
- Ensuring parts are identified with a tag and processes are checked off accordingly
- Loading and unloading parts
- Prepping and cleaning parts
- Polishing, buffing, and sanding parts
- Identifying defects
- General paint line support
- Identify defects in parts and correct using a variety of tools and putty/filler
- Clean and prepare parts for painting by using solvents, sandpaper, and and air tools
- Assemble molded parts using adhesive and fasteners
- Attach various fixtures such as panels and latches to finished parts using hand tools
- Work with quality inspectors, supervisors, engineers, and other production personnel to identify and report defects.
Hours and Wages:
Second shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00am-2:00am; Friday overtime (when required) 12:00pm- 6:00pm
No weekends!
$23.50/hr starting pay
