Job Summary:

As a part of the Maintenance team, you will complete daily duties that contribute to the efficient upkeep and maintenance of Able Freight facilities. Additionally, you will be contributing to and completing projects to change, add, or improve existing buildings, grounds, and structures. This position works under moderate supervision of the Senior Corporate Purchasing & Procurement Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide chemical and kitchen inventory
• Update and submit cleaning logs for restrooms
• Perform deep cleaning of facility quarterly
• Clean the facility, both office and warehouse, including breakrooms, breakdown area, private offices (excluding HR offices), and restrooms (twice a day for restrooms)
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and upholstered furniture
• Mop floors
• Clean and polish conference room tables
• Empty all trash receptacles, replace dirty or torn trash liners
• Wipe clean all trash receptacles and surrounding walls for spills and food debris
• Clean and sanitize all drinking fountains
• Dust all file cabinets, bookshelves, plants, desks, and all other flat surfaces
• Sanitize all handles and doorknobs
• Clean all interior glass doors and windows
• Clean all counters and sinks in breakroom and restroom areas
• Wash coffee pots
• Clean inside and outside of microwaves and ovens
• Clean exterior of all vending machines and refrigerators
• Clean interior of refrigerators and freezers bi-weekly, throw out expired food
• Wipe clean all table tops and chairs outside
• Clean all mirrors
• Empty and clean all wastepaper receptacles and sanitary dispensers in restrooms.
• Restock all necessary items such as toilet paper, paper towels, seat covers and hand soap
• Clean and dust restroom stall partitions
• Clean, disinfect and polish all chrome, metal, and stainless-steel surfaces
• Replace air freshener canisters, urinal screens and urinal mats
• All other work-related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or the Senior Corporate Purchasing & Procurement Manager.

• Must be comfortable in a warehouse environment and around fast-moving equipment
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend, sit, squat, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, and twist/turn
• Must be able to pass a preemployment physical, drug screening, and background check

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience in a warehouse environment
