About This Role:
Reporting to the Director of Space Management, the Space Planner provides a wide range of services related to space planning, space utilization, master planning, and project management. The focus of this role will be to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a wide range of individuals to develop solutions to a variety of space needs that also support the university strategic and master plans. Responsibilities include coordinating and maintaining inventory of space data, planning and coordinating department relocations, preparation of plans and estimates for small renovation projects, and assist in the development and maintenance of university design and space standards. This position will have the opportunity to participate in facility programming, digital asset management and developing expanded services for planning, analytics, and GIS mapping.

What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
5-7 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills and a customer service focus
Advanced knowledge in Space Planning and Higher Ed design
Proven ability to research/solve problems and express ideas in a clear and compelling manner
Experience in industry-specific software such as AutoCAD and Revit
Proficient in Microsoft Office and PDF editing tools
Ability to successfully collaborate with others in a team environment
Detail-oriented with exceptional organization skills

Other Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
