About the Role
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the management, supervision and coordination of the facilities and transportation teams and the overall upkeep of the Altasciences Clinical Research Site California.

What You'll Do

• Management of the facilities and transportation teams, including but not limited to, PTO management, timesheet approval, on-going and yearly performance reviews, employee hiring, disciplinary actions and termination.
• Perform, direct and/or oversee the training of the facilities and transportation teams.
• Proactively assess learning opportunities for the facilities and transportation teams.
• Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.
• Maintain and advocate a high level of quality and customer service within the department.
• Act as the main point of contact for contractors/vendors.
• Create and maintain a schedule for the facilities and transportation teams.
• Maintain an inventory of facilities supplies and submit requisitions when required.
• Diagnosis, repair and/or schedule repair of facilities equipment including but not limited to, lighting, plumbing and drywall.
• Perform general facilities upkeep such as painting.
• Ensure the performance of scheduled facilities maintenance is completed, including but not limited to, changing air filters and belts.
• Arrange the transportation of study participants and employees.
• Manage the facilities parking lot, including but not limited to, parking allocation and lot maintenance.
• Proactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to departmental supervisors and managers

What You'll Need to Succeed

• High School Diploma or GED, related work experience required and valid driver’s license required; college degree and management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry over 50lbs. and perform various physically demanding tasks. Good leadership and communication skills. Customer service focused, creative and able to work in a fast paced environment.

What We Offer
The pay range estimated for this position is $73,000 - $120,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
