Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the day to day tasks of the 3rd party janitorial, maintenance, security, and garage staff.
  • Interact and communicate with tenants to ensure maintenance and repairs are handled properly and efficiently
  • Create agendas and run tenant meetings
  • Develop contact lists and maintain Outlook contacts database inputting shared contact information from the property
  • Follow up with tenants to ensure satisfaction with tenant work requests.
  • Maintain current and complete certificates of insurance for all tenants and all vendors. Review all limits, coverage types, expirations and additional insured for compliance.
  • Responsible for drafting and sending distribution email blasts to tenants.
  • Assist in planning tenant events.
  • Special projects/assignments as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Engineering, or related technical field
  • Knowledge of building systems, systems commissioning, and systems design
  • Working knowledge in the field of property management, building design and/or real estate, with an interest in lab space, highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with CAD, BMS systems and maintenance work request systems a plus.
  • Client service-oriented attitude a must
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Proficient problem-solving, analytical, and ability to follow directions a must
