Rocconic is a rapidly growing specialty manufacturing company, in the Pittsburgh area, that specializes in the production of specialty metals (architectural details, commercial storefronts, railings...etc), glass, and signage fabrication. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to become part of our skilled fabrication team. Recommended skills for individuals wishing to apply to the open fabrication position are as follows:

• Ability to weld aluminum and steel.
• Familiarity with safe handling of hand tools, sanders, band saws, press breaks, panel saws, table saws, chop saws, etc…
• Motivated problem solver who thinks on their feet.
• Lift 75lbs.
• Work on their feet all day.
• Able to work with others on projects.
• Has a willingness to learn new skills.
• Is not satisfied with building widgets or the same thing every day.
• Listen to/take directions from supervisors well.
• Study and interpret assembly instructions/drawings.
• Read parts list.
• Can determine if all parts of the project are present and correct per drawings.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies per drawings.
• Assemble components per drawing.
• Interpret measurements.
• Verify specifications on drawings.
• Help to resolve any assembly and/or production issues that may occur on given project.
• Ensure working environment is clean, orderly, and safe.
• Complete quality control check.
• Report errors in product line.
• Participate in product development.
• Build prototypes and test products.

Compensation is competitively based on experience and knowledge of the position ($15-$20/hr).
