Aluminum Finish Welder/Fabricator Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for a highly skilled aluminum finish welder/fabricator- we are a small but growing custom horse trailer manufacturer. In this position, you will be responsible for making all welded parts as needed for each project. Your daily responsibilities will include reviewing specifications, laying out metal components, cutting, fabricating, and welding those pieces together to create doors, ramps, poles, latches, and other components of our trailers. We expect our welders to complete each job within specific deadlines. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of welding experience and a working knowledge of standard welding tools and techniques.

Not your typical production finish welding position- not stuck on an assembly line or doing the exact same thing every day!

Welder Duties and Responsibilities
● Interpret drawings and plans to understand project scope and specifications

● Make parts needed within tight tolerances

● Produce templates and other work aids

● Utilize industry tools and equipment, including hand and air tools proficiently and safely

● Use precision measuring tools proficiently

● Maintain proper equipment; repair when needed

● Keep a tidy workspace
Welder Requirements and Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent

● 2+ years of professional aluminum welding experience preferred

● MIG Welder Certification through the American Welding Society a plus

● Working knowledge of industry tool and equipment

● Able to read CAD drawings and produce parts off CAD drawing

● Proficient in basic math

● Great attention to detail

● Able to take direction

● Able to work individually or in a group

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
