Rumford Stone is a family-owned granite and quartz fabrication company located in Bow NH that crafts premium custom countertops and surfaces. We pride our craftsmanship of excellent products to deliver great experiences. A 1st shift Fabricator position does not open up very often. This specialist reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and exhibits our core values: hard-working, process driven, customer-focused team player who values strong relationships. An eye for quality and attention to detail are essential. We will train for this position. Experience working in a manufacturing environment using machinery, masonry or with hand tools is a plus. Responsibilities:

• Perform all work required for your shift in an accurate and expeditious manner so the next shift’s work can commence with little to no down time
• Read and interpret drawings, sketches and work order instructions required to set up and perform work as directed
• Load and unload machines and work tables with overhead cranes or by hand as needed
• Examine finished work pieces for smoothness, shape, conformity to specifications and verify dimensions, visually and using hands, rulers, templates, or gauges
• Install and adjust blades, boring-bits, or tooling, using hand tools and conforming to company procedures and safety requirements
• Inspect and mark completed work pieces and place them on carts or on tables so that they can be moved to the next workstation
• Perform any other work required to ensure the efficient operation of the business; including clean up, loading trucks, cleaning of machinery, vehicles, material handling, etc.
• Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing or other discipline requiring measuring and accurate, quality workmanship is desirable, but not required.
• Candidate must be safety conscious, detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, as needed.
• Schedule is M-F 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, plus overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
• Rotating On-Call weekend schedule with mandatory weekend work during busy times.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation is required.
• Must possess a mobile device to allow sending and receiving communication texts
• Applicant must be able to independently lift 80 lbs from floor to chest height on a regular basis throughout the day, as needed
