Our Microelectronics Laboratory seeks a fabrication supervisor who will work in our Class 10 clean room supporting a broad range of activities in the Advanced Technology Division including 90nm CMOS devices for extreme environment applications, advanced CCD imagers for DoD and science needs, digital and quantum superconductor circuits, and integrated photonic circuits. The Microelectronics Laboratory operates 3 shifts (6:30am – 3:00pm: 2:30pm -11:00pm and 10:30pm – 7:00am), 5 days per week.


Candidate will supervise wafer fabrication operations to ensure work is processed in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate must be an effective resource for our process technicians, with knowledge of semiconductor process and equipment operation. The candidate will coordinate shift pass-downs to ensure a seamless transition of in-process work.


The candidate must communicate effectively; this role will interface with all staff levels. They must inform stakeholders with status of tools and projects. They will help document and train assigned processes. They will coordinate resources across all process queues, adapting work to leave schedules and developing training that adapts to evolving program needs. They will help resolve process holds from statistical process control limit violations.


Requirements

Successful candidate should have a Associates degree in science or engineering technology and 10 or more years of semiconductor fabrication experience.
