Department Overview

The Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Associate Materials Analyst will be responsible for managing/tracking parts to include the identification of any part shortages by module to ensure the production schedule is met.

The position is also responsible for assisting with parts reconciliation in a timely, complete, and accurate manner and will be responsible for assisting with the expediting of materials in support of repair and the Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • End to end tracking of the parts to ensure requirements are met.
  • Using SAP to reconcile parts and research part information.
  • Perform tasks such as sourcing, swaps, and/or exchanges to ensure kitting is completed by deadline.
  • Ensure all part inventories and part valuation types are accurate prior to releasing the cart into assembly.
  • Assist with coordinating the routing of parts to outside vendors and to internal repair.
  • Work closely with the LPM Item/Fleet Manager and HMC Materials Analyst
  • Participate in material review meetings.
  • Facilitate the movement of goods between the warehouse and the HMC using a 3rd party logistics company.
  • Participate in teams, committees, events, and training that improve the HMC organization and support achieving Cell and Site CORE objectives.
  • Minimal travel may be required

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts
  • Fluent in English (verbal/written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision on a wide variety of tasks.
  • Must demonstrate commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all EH&S committee activities.
  • Must be willing to work 1st shift (0700-1600), with availability to cover overtime when necessary
  • Minimal travel may be required
  • Prior material scheduling experience in an aerospace MRO environment is preferred.
  • Experience participating in teams to achieve successful results.
  • The ability to work in a start-up environment with flexible roles and responsibilities, limited formal training and firm deliverables.
  • An understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Excel functionality.
  • Prefer experience as a day-to-day user of SAP, entering transactions and running reports.
  • Successful candidate will have a Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Strong attention to detail as well as strong communication skills
