Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Expert Systems Integration Specialist (Level 4) to join the Strategy and Integration Team within the 787 Supply Chain Fulfillment organization in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift!

The growth of the 787 program makes this role an opportunity to be involved in exciting innovation through supply chain opportunities and partnerships, cross-functional problem solving, and an on-going Lean journey.

This candidate will lead innovative systems development and implementation to drive world-class business intelligence and performance-enabling data analytics. This role will also include creatively problem solving with understanding of the existing systems, business needs, performance drivers, and industry trends in IoT and beyond. The selected candidate will be required to back into existing data and validate sources to create analytical reports that meet business needs. This position offers a key role in the future of supply chain systems capability and strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads determination of business information requirements and coordinates change activities at an enterprise level.

  • Participates in and helps lead workshops surrounding future supply chain systems capability and strategy.

  • Leads development and implementation of business architecture based upon information requirements.

  • Develops data linkages, updates and monitors data and related policies, and performs quality control actions relating to business information.

  • Develops, integrates, standardizes, governs, and enhances information dashboards and reports.

  • Leads development, execution of system readiness testing and post-implementation monitoring.

  • Leads project management activities, changes, and integration surrounding systems integration statement of work up to the enterprise level.

  • Leads delivery of end-user support to include immediate and forward thinking system/data guidance, FAQ management, issue analysis, and training design and delivery. KITS Backlog Grooming and User Story Creation.

  • Works with production to capture requirements/enhancements, present to the change board for acceptance and implementation prioritization.

  • Acts as liaison between end-user community and KITS development/technical team (or as needed for other relevant systems).

  • Conducts End User Testing by following a test script.

  • Extracts data from Various Systems (i.e. Data WHS, Order Manager, SRIT, CribMaster, ERPLN, COGNOS, Velocity, MVT, etc)

  • Utilize SQL, Microsoft Access and Toad to build queries to meet business needs

  • Requires MS Excel skills for Data Analysis and Metric Creation including VLOOKUP, IF and similar basic functions, conditional formatting, pivot tables and charts, dynamic filtering

  • Must be able to communicate and translate business needs clearly to the systems development teams. Programming knowledge preferred but not required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of communication skill to collaborate clearly, concisely, and consistently with team members, partners, customers, and business stakeholders.

  • 5+ years of developing, integrating, standardizing, governing and enhancing information dashboards and reports.

  • 3+ years of leading the determination of business information requirements and coordinating system change activities at company level.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of advanced knowledge and experience in data mining; use of Microsoft Access, Excel, Project and PowerPoint

  • PMP certification

  • 3+ years ability to mine data from multiple systems in order to compare and contrast historical and real time records

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $110,500 - $149,500
