The Boeing Enterprise Software organization is seeking an Experienced Workforce Strategy and Skill Focal Specialist to support the development and implementation of globally-integrated workforce strategies and processes that support Boeing’s software teams that are revolutionizing software to protect, connect, and exploring our world and beyond. This is a fully virtual position and can be worked from any US-based location. In this role, the employee will support development and analysis of scalable processes and mechanisms that drive attraction, development, and engagement of talent.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation.

  • Supports maintenance of skill-level supply and demand forecasts for the supported business and works with other Workforce teams to support implementation of consistent process and mechanisms for prioritizing work and deploying employees.

  • Conducts staff planning and analysis, develops workforce analysis, and supports workforce plan implementation.

  • Proactively identifies potential workforce risks, opportunities, and issues that could impact the supported business unit and Enterprise Software organization. Supports development of mitigation planning and business case refinement.

  • Coordinates and clarifies the workforce strategies and analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope necessary to meet long range business goals and develop business case.

  • Collects, organizes, and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.

  • Leads focused engagements with supported business units. Ensures follow-up action for issue resolution.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Project Management

  • 1 - 3 years of experience collecting data, developing metrics, and conducting trend analysis

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in workforce strategy or people analytics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Adaptive Planning

  • 3+ years of experience in building and presenting plans, and communicating to executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience designing organizational management systems and operating rhythms

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $81,600 – $126,500
