This position requires a highly motivated person to collaborate with Verizon and the broader V-One team to develop implement and optimize Verizon’s’ holistic investment strategy as well as oversite of the groups day-to-day activation team. The Executive Vice President, Integrated Investment will be responsible for consulting closely with internal stakeholders across Strategy, Analytics and Operations, as well as the client’s internal CMO organization, in the evolution and implementation of all aspects of Verizon’s media & marketing investment efforts (aka video, digital, content, programmatic, search, social, OOH, audio, local, etc.). This individual will learn / embody Zenith and V-One’s vision of Live ROI as a mantra and foster a teamwork mentality as the manage several direct reports and oversite responsibility for the V-One media investment org.
Role Objectives:
Oversee, train and mentor Senior Vice Presidents and broader investment team, across all levels
Negotiate and purchase National Video scatter/upfront activity
Maintain current knowledge of marketplace conditions through network meetings and trade publications
Project delivery for inventory against relevant target demographics
Monitor the stewardship of all media schedules adhering to each client’s buying guidelines
Help oversee timeline and execution of added value opportunities
Maintain confirmation of purchase, schedules, budgets, and reconciliation of network billing
Monitor performance of buys using current rating information. Secure makegoods and/or audience deficiency units for under delivery
Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities and place appropriate value
Contribute to post-analysis reports
Meet all due dates for buys, post analyses, and assigned projects; help team set up project deadlines to achieve all timelines
Communicate regularly with salespeople and negotiate to maintain or improve the integrity of the buys as they are stewarded
Advise supervisors of marketplace conditions, special opportunities, and potential schedule interruptions
Assist in development of cost per points, competitive checks, and group projects
Working knowledge of consumer habits & touchpoints, i.e. magazine, digital mobile, social, video
Draw actionable insights based off syndicated data, Nielsen, Comscore, Strategy, TNS and others
Utilize existing relationships with vendors to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan
Maintain a knowledge of all ad serving and programmatic platforms
Continuously search for opportunities to be a role model for the broader team

B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
Agency experience highly preferred
15-20 years of experience working in a media investment buying environment
Experience negotiating TV dayparts, online video, digital, sponsorships and other media tactics
Strong negotiating and presenting skills
Deep existing relationships across a variety of media vendors, channels and platforms
Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Media Ocean software (DDS, MBOX) preferred

Compensation Range: $241,000 - $325,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
