As an Executive Assistant, you will provide a wide range of business operations, administrative and general support duties for executive leadership.
This job is a part of the Administrative Services functional area that performs administrative activities to support business operations. This can be for teams, business areas or for individual senior leaders and activities include scheduling, calendar management, travel arrangements and other items.
What You’ll Do:
  • Draft confidential correspondence, edit documents, take, and transcribe minutes of meetings, and perform other administrative and secretarial duties.
  • Create, maintain and/or update various databases – break down, analyze, and present data for management information reporting purposes.
  • Serve as a liaison between executives, internal management, employees, clients, and visitors as required.
  • Examine incoming letters and emails, figuring out the best course of action, and keeping track of tasks that need to be completed.
  • Take independent action on handling requests; determine the appropriate course of action, intervene where necessary, and act as a liaison between departments.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support meetings and conferences - arrange domestic and international travel.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function.
  • Collect information, determine what it means and use that information to identify and solve difficult issues, even when there are no similar situations to reference.
  • Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
  • Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
  • Evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
  • Provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers and present information.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence and respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors.

What You’ll Need:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of related experience and/or training.
  • 2+ years supporting an executive level individual/team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and reasoning skills.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
