Carson Power is a fast-paced, innovative, growing, energy-transition development platform that develops solar and storage power plants across the country looking to hire a talented Executive Assistant.

The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide administrative support in a variety of functions to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) that are focused on increasing the efficiency of the executive. The EA needs to think proactively and respond quickly and efficiently while handling multiple priorities with the utmost discretion and composure.

This candidate will be resourceful, creative, innovative with a positive problem solving mindset and a “can-do” attitude that has exceptional communication skills and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the CEO to support all aspects of her daily work routine, juggling competing priorities as necessary and making appropriate and informed decisions regarding available time.
  • Maintain the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel (may include domestic and international) arrangements.
  • Build and manage the CEO’s contact database.
  • Update and prepare presentations and Organizational Charts.
  • Hire, interview and manage support hires for the CEO
  • Organize mail received at offices and distribute accordingly
  • Schedules internal and external meetings, coordinating all logistics and details, providing relevant preparation materials, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Plans and oversees logistical arrangements for meetings, including space and facility needs, meals and refreshments, supplies, and technology.
  • Support CEO, company and Social Committee event team events.
  • Completes expense reports for reimbursement of entire C-suite, as necessary
  • Manage all aspects of the NYC office including, but not limited to, ensuring the office is maintained, ordering office supplies and maintaining office equipment, ordering catering for meetings, helping to organize employee events, restocking kitchen/pantry areas and ensuring it stays organized and clean.
  • Other duties as they are assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an administrative assistant including 4 years of experience supporting an Executive - associate degree preferred - Prior experience in a corporate environment.
  • Highly advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and contribute to the goals of a dynamic and growing organization.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a busy, fast-paced environment and meet frequent and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to learn and anticipate the needs of the CEO.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service orientation
  • A high degree of personal and professional integrity and the ability to work with confidential information.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,) Box, Smartsheet, Lucid Chart, and Adobe (Acrobat DC), and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Additional duties as they are assigned

Education

  • An Associate’s Degree or its equivalent is preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
